Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Daikin and Fujitsu are well-known aircon brands in Singapore. For a hassle-free experience, many people go to these brands for their reliability and commitment to service. Here, we introduce these major brands and their features.
Mitsubishi Electric
Mitsubishi Electric has been in the market since 1921. It promises MEQ on all its products – Mitsubishi Electric Quality. This means Mitsubishi Electric aims to exceed industry standards in Comfort, Efficiency and Durability. MEQ promises, clean air, optimum temperature distribution and silent operation, optimum cost performance and energy savings, and rugged, long-lasting operation with a goal of ensuring a minimum of 10 years service without a breakdown.
Mitsubishi Inverters receive information from sensors monitoring operating conditions and adjust the revolution speed of the compressor, which results in eliminating consumption of excessive electricity and providing comfortable room environment. It is quick and powerful, and the room temperature is maintained.
Mitsubishi Electric has unique Poki-poki motors, which is manufactured using a joint lapping technique, thus ensuring high efficiency and reliability.
With 50 years of technological expertise are incorporated into ecologically sound products and manufacturing facilities, Mitsubishi Electric promises cleaner environments, inside and out.
Panasonic
Panasonic was founded in 1918. Its focus is making “people” central to their activities. Its goal is to work hard to realize “A better Life, A better World” for each individual consumer. It has been official AV sponsor of the Olympic games for more than 25 years.
Panasonic has ECONAVI Intelligent Sensors which detect energy waste using the Human Activity Sensor and Sunlight Sensor. It monitors human location, movements, absence and sunlight intensity, and automatically adjusts cooling power to ensure convenience and comfort.
It also has nanoe-G, Panasonic’s original air purifying system that uses nano technology. It removes 99% of PM 2.5 (fine particles), airborne bacteria and viruses, deactivates adhesive micro-organisms and deactivates in-filter.
Daikin
Daikin is the only Japanese aircon specialist in Singapore, a subsidiary of Daikin Industries. It has achieved many firsts in Singapore including first multi-split air-conditioning to HDB homeowners. It introduced its Pichonkun mascot, a water droplet in 2003 to symbolize the best of nature – “fresh, natural and eco-friendly”.
Daikin has a revolutionary new hot water system, allowing the consumer to use waste heat from the air-con to warm up the shower by transferring heat from the Outdoor unit to the storage water heater.
Equipped with intelligent technologies, Daikin Inverter Multi-Split aircon boosts cooling performance and reduces energy wastage, achieving high Coefficient of Performances (COPs). There is also a priority-room setting function which lets the consumer specify a room to receive preference in cooling.
Fujitsu
Fujitsu combines modern technology and marketing to create values for the next generation, and strives for a better relationship between man and his environment.
Fujitsu integrates product design around the new energy efficiency standard, known as the Energy-related products (ErP) Directive that meet the EU Action Plan 20/20/20 (By 2020, CO2 emission -20%, Renewable energy share 20%, Primary energy use -20%).
With its thin and high-density Lamda Multi-path heat exchanger, aircon performance is substantially improved. Its floor and ceiling aircons also have a double auto swing feature (up and down, left and right), while its standard models have low ambient operation and easy maintenance.
Recognized brand names have a consistent product quality, and inspire confidence in experience when purchasing. Mitsubishi, Panasonic, Daikin and Fujitsu are such reliable brands which you tend to experience lesser problems with.
